Did you know that the West Parry Sound District has an average annual snowfall of over 200 centimetres! With all that snow there’s only one thing the people of the North can do... Bundle up, get outside, and participate in their favourite winter sport!

From November 30^th to December 21^st the Museum’s Winter Sports Exhibition will give you the chance to share your memories while finding out about the history of winter sports in the West Parry Sound District. And with the 2018 Winter Olympics approaching there’s no better time to brush up on your knowledge.

Attend the official opening December 2^nd, 12 – 2pm for hot chocolate, tea, cookies and other tasty refreshments! We can’t wait to see you there!
