Professor Sali Tagliamonte will look at how to complete a successful oral history interview.
Sali is the Canada Research Chair in Language Variation and Change and also does work in the Department of Linguistics for the University of Toronto. She is a Canadian linguist and works in the field of language variation and change . She has been a professor at the University of Toronto since 2001. Her recent project focuses on dialects of Ontario English, looking at various communities e.g., Toronto, North Bay, South Porcupine, Kirkland Lake, Haliburton, Almonte, Wilno, Kapuskasing and Barry's Bay.
Fees Fees for the genealogical club includes 9 meeting's throughout the year, presentations from guest lecturers and subscriptions to services such as Ancestry. Prices are $40 per year, $20 for those with a Annual Pass to the Museum or $6 for individual meetings.
Fees will be collected at the beginning of each meeting.
