Documenting WW1 Canadian Soldiers Images & Carvings with Canadigm

About the Event
Canadigm, a London based not-for-profit group has, since 2021, been documenting images and carvings created by our WW1 Canadian soldiers using 3d laser scanning and high-resolution photography. The soldiers were billeted in an underground Souterrain in preparation for the Battle of Vimy Ridge. During their stay below ground they wrote their names, drawings and intricately carved battalion cap badges. The documentation process in capturing these images and the results will be presented on October 14 at the Museum on Tower Hill.

Zenon Andrusyszyn : Artistic and Executive Director
Zenon Andrusyszyn is a Montreal-born Canadian artist and educator and the founder of CANADIGM. He has a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Concordia University in Montreal, a Diploma in Art Education from McGill and has been practicing his profession for 40 years.
