Research Request Form

The museum is open to public requests for access to the collection and resources. The collection of the West Parry Sound District Museum is held in the public trust and therefore all reasonable means to provide public access to the collection, for the purpose of research, shall be encouraged taking into account conversation risks and fair equitable allocation of available resources.

The research requests can take up to 15 working days from the date the request was made for the staff to get back to you.

Staff will conduct a 'quick look-up' to determine if the information, artifacts etc. are present in the collection and able to be accessed and generate a quote based on the est. time required to complete request. Staff will contact the researcher to discuss the quote and payment.

Should research exceed the pre-paid allotted time, staff will stop and contact researcher so they can decide if they would like the research to continue.
