Hours: 35 hours/week (Winter: Tuesday - Saturday; Summer: Wednesday - Sunday)
Salary: $34,580 (for total year)

Job Overview
The Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in promoting our organization's mission and programs within the community. This position requires a proactive individual with strong administrative and leadership skills who can effectively educate the public about our initiatives, recruit volunteers, and manage outreach projects. The ideal candidate will be passionate about community engagement and possess excellent public speaking abilities.
Duties

Develop and implement outreach strategies to market our programs and services to diverse audiences.

Conduct data collection and analysis to assess the effectiveness of outreach efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.

Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to assist with the operation of a H/O scale model train.

Collaborate with team members on project management tasks to ensure the successful execution of outreach initiatives.

Foster relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders to enhance collaboration opportunities.

Create social media content.

Produce and edit video content for our Heritage YouTube Channel in cooperation with other team members.
Requirements

Proven experience in administrative roles with strong organizational skills.

Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams or volunteers.

Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.

Strong marketing skills to promote programs effectively within the community.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

A passion for community service and a commitment to making a positive impact.

Ability to commute/relocate to Parry Sound, ON P2A 2M2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
