Presenter Bio:
"I grew up in Toronto and studied Languages at the University of Toronto, never imagining that my career would take me in such different directions. My first full-time role at CAA turned into a 28-year journey of writing training programs, leading workshops, and eventually building province-wide computer-based learning systems. After organizational changes ended that chapter, I entered the world of foreign exchange, where I discovered a surprising passion for Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering investigations.
When I retired, I finally had the time to follow a calling that had been with me since childhood: uncovering my Georgian Bay family's story, among other ancestral history accounts.
