The museum is open to public requests for access to the collection and resources. The collection of the West Parry Sound District Museum is held in the public trust and therefore all reasonable means to provide public access to the collection, for the purpose of research, shall be encouraged taking into account conversation risks and fair equitable allocation of available resources.
The research requests can take up to 15 working days from the date the request was made for the staff to get back to you. After the complimentary period (30 minutes), research will continue at a rate of $20 per hour.
