Research Library
For a few years now, we have been slowly working towards creating an in-house research library for our community, and thanks to funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, we have hired a familiar face to complete this project!
Michaela Dickens has been working with us for over two years now. She started as a Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) Collections Assistant before taking on the responsibilities of acting Collections Supervisor while Amy Sultana was on maternity leave. She has worked on various projects, including exhibition development, adding artifacts to our collections, development of videos for our YouTube channel and content for our social media, to name a few. Her education in Museum Management and Curatorship and previous experience with archives and libraries make her the perfect fit to set up our new research library.
Stay tuned for updates about this exciting new project; in the meantime, we are putting a hold on in-person visits for research requests. We encourage you to share your thoughts or questions about the project with us at info@musemontowerhill.com
